Due to its hermetically capsuled counter mechanism the ASAHI COSMOS-T meter,a varuant of the proed ASAHI COSMOS-WP meter, is specially suited to operate at places of high humidity and changing ambient temperature.
Tranmission gear and roller counter are integrated within one unit and air and waterright encased into a metal capsule saled by a crash-safe glass. A magnetic coupling transmits the turbin rotation into the capsule to the counter mechanism. Theredy this type eliminated all atmospheric influences.

Due to the meter head's special design and by using a security stopper the fastening screws are no more accessible after assembly so that secondary disassembly of the counter mechanism and unauthorized interference at the adjustment can be carried out only by violant destruction of the head.
Therefore the meter head is particularly well protected against manipulations. The complete measuring mechanism is secured against removal from the body by a seal.

The dial position endbles reading in flow direction. Any other dia position is possible The measuring mechanisms of the water size 200,250 and 300 are equal.They differ only intheir gear ratio in the countter capsule. Except slight differences the measuring mechanisms of the meter size 400 and 500 correspond to those of size 250 and 300.

To adapt a measuring me chanism to an other nominal size only the counter capsule has to be exchanged. The body is provided with a high-quality corrosion proof coating so than deposits cannot settle down in the meter. The meter is shielded from magnetic fields. Its function cannot be influenced by external magnets.
